Conrad Day fo District Judge

CONRAD DAY - Committed Republican

I am running as a Republican because I am a genuine conservative and a life-long Republican. My loyalty to the Republican Party and true conservatism has its roots in the time I spent knocking on doors in support of Ronald Reagan’s campaign in 1980, when I was in law school.

In 1990, I campaigned as a Republican to be the judge of the 155th Judicial District Court, and won a contested Republican primary, only to lose in the general election to Democrat Dan Beck, the current District Court judge.

After that campaign, I continued to serve the Republican Party, while raising my family and building my law practice in Bellville. I was elected to be the Chairman of the Austin County Republican Party, and served in that position from 1991 to 1994.

Now that Judge Beck is retiring, I am running again as a Republican, because it is important to me that the judge of our district upholds the conservative values on which our communities were founded. The next judge of the 155th District Court must embody the authentic conservatism I believe to be mandated by the Constitutions of the United States and the State of Texas.

I am the only candidate with the demonstrable Republican credentials necessary to bring true conservatism to the District Court, and I am asking for your vote in the Republican runoff on April 13, 2010.
